ESP8266 IO Pins Handy Reference

ESP8266 IO Pins Handy Reference… there are heaps of fantastic tutorials available on the web showing the pin outs reference and giving the usage on each, down to the most exact bit of information…

this post is not even close to one of them… no, this post is simply a graphic of the left side of an ESP8266 development board, showing the labels (ie D1), the corresponding GPIO5 and some simple Input/Output notes. Really simple… print it out, stick it to the wall and never have to look up what D7 is again. I have found this diagram so helpful, saves me time without taking up any space on the all important, ever crowded workbench.

So, there you have it. I know that this post won’t change the world, but I hope you find it useful.

I find as I get older, I would rather use my memory for the more important things, you know, like um, is this my house?… that kind of thing.
